Over 35 years of Hoverbarge history

The hover barge was first developed in the UK in the 1970's by Air Cushion Equipment Ltd.  Since then, the hover barge has been used successfully in a number of worldwide applications.  The Chief Technology Officer of Hovertrans Solutions Pte. Ltd. has been in the hover barge industry from the beginning, developing the first modular hover barge whilst working for Air Cushion Equipment, then pioneering hover barges whilst running Mackace Ltd during the 1970s and 1980s and subsequent hover barge companies to date.
